Got questions? We've got answers!
Q: Who is Personal Fleet
A: Personal Fleet is a car buying companythat uses its volume
buying power, unique tendering system and relationships with
over 1,000 dealerships Australia wide, to get everday mum and
dad car buyers a better price on the purchase of a new vehicle.
Q: How much is this going to cost me?
A: We only charge you on success. Our fee is $165.00 but that is only payable upon you purchasing a car. If you don't buy a car, you don't pay anything.
We would expect to save you more money than the membership
fee.
When you purchase a vehicle using our system, your purchase
and payment will be directly from a car dealer. You just don't
have to haggle and negotiate with them; we do all the hard work
for you.
Q: How do I know that you won't
hassle me like a car dealer?
A: We're on your side. You are our client. It is our goal to
make this process a happy one and one where you are in control
from the comfort of your home or office. No need to spend your
weekend haggling and negotiating with car dealers. We do the
hard work for you.
Q: How long does your process take?
A: Our system is well organised and professional. Therefore,
we start getting answers from car dealers within four hours of
us tendering out your business. As the offers arrive, we will
call you and explain the offer in detail, so that you feel
comfortable with the entire process.
Q: What do I get for my membership fee?
A: Your membership fee is a one off charge of $165 payable
upon successfully purchasing a vehicle. That gives you lifetime
membership to our members area
and a range of discounts on items such as car servicing and
travel.
Q: What about car options and accessories
A: When we negotiate on a car for you, we can organise the
whole package. We are buying from and negotiating with all of
the major car industry suppliers everyday, so we can simply add
in paint protection, rust protection, fabric/leather protection
or window tinting to the package, if you want it.
Q: I have a trade-in vehicle
A: No problem. If you have a trade-in vehicle, we can work on
a change-over price/package. To start, we need to get a thorough
assessment of the condition and quality of your trade-in
vehicle. To help us with that process, please fill out
this form. We then take your trade-in
vehicle through a similar process to our purchaing system;
tendering out your car to known car buyers.
Q: Can you organise car finance?
A: Yes we can organise car finance for you. We have our own
finance
brokers that work with the major finance companies and we
can get you the right finance. We know that getting the finance
right is very important for you so we have a
detailed area about car finance on
this site.
Q. If a car comes from interstate, what happens with
registration in my state?
A. All vehicles purchased through Personal Fleet are
registered in the state the purchaser lives in. So if we buy a
vehicle for you from WA and you live in NSW then we have the
vehicle delivered to you with NSW registration AND a full tank
of fuel.
Q. If it’s delivered from interstate, how does it get here?
A. Vehicles from interstate are delivered to your home or
office on the back of a truck. If a dealer in country Victoria
wants to deliver your vehicle to your front door in QLD for
cheaper than your local dealer then we have done our job.
Q. What is Personal Fleet?
A. Personal Fleet is a car buying company that uses its
volume buying power, unique tendering system and relationships
with over 1,000 dealerships Australia wide to get everyday mum
and dad car buyer a better price on the purchase of one vehicle
or many.
Q. Why should I use Personal Fleet?
A. We have your best interests at heart. We aim to protect
you from the perils that most car buyers are faced with when
buying a car. We help you bypass the retail salesmen who make
their commission off you and get you straight through to the
fleet departments, who will give you access to prices and
service otherwise unobtainable to the general public or one off
buyers. We save you thousands of dollars on your new car and
countless weekends going from dealer to dealer trying to
negotiate a better deal. We make a stressful experience an
enjoyable one.
Q. Am I committed to buy the car if I ask Personal Fleet to
obtain a price on my new car?
A. Simply No! We actually encourage you encourage you to
obtain your own pricing from your local dealership; that way you
will have something to compare to and will know our great
pricing when you hear it. Meanwhile we work for you to find your
specified vehicle at the best possible value. From there, the
choice is yours. IF we have saved you lots of money and you are
happy to go ahead and purchase the vehicle we help you do so. IF
by some remote chance we did not happen to beat your price
(which is highly unlikely) then at least you will know you have
a great price and can buy it with confidence.
Q. Do you buy cars in my state? Or, What about remote areas
like mine?
A. YES! Personal Fleet services the whole country in every
state and territory Australia wide. No matter where you are! We
especially love to help people in remote areas who only have
access to one dealer within hundreds of kilometres. Obviously
there is no competition there so the dealer can charge what he
likes (within reason of course). We give buyers in remote areas
access to dealers Australia wide who are all competing for their
business.
Q. Do I have to go to the new car dealership?
A. No you do not (unless you want to, for some reason). Once
we have found you the best value for your vehicle and you are
happy to go ahead and purchase it, we then settle all paperwork
via email, fax or mail. Then when it is time for delivery, no
matter where we get the vehicle from in the country it is
delivered right to the front door of your home or office, with a
full tank of fuel!
Q. What happens to my warranty if I buy through Personal
Fleet?
A. Nothing Changes! You still get your new car warranty and
servicing as normal, because you are still buying your new car
from a licensed Authorised New car dealership.
Q. Can anyone use Personal Fleet to purchase their cars?
A. YES. It does not matter whether you are buying one vehicle
or one hundred vehicle for private use or business use. You are
able to use Personal Fleet you help buy your car. From now on
you will have your own Personal car buying consultant/adviser.
Q. Do you do trade in?
A. Yes we DO! We tender your trade in out to our network of
dealers, (in the same way we do for your new vehicle) who all
compete for your business. So essentially we save you as much as
we can on your new vehicle, GAIN you as much as we can on your
trade in to minimise your change-over amount, which is the
amount of money that comes out of your pocket. It’s a win-win
for you!
Q. What is ‘Change Over’ price?
A. This is the best price we have been able to achieve on
your new vehicle minus the best possible value for your trade
in. It is the amount of money that comes out of your pocket,
which is what we are working to minimise right from the first
contact.
Q. How do I pay for my car?
A. All payments are made directly to the supplying
dealership. Payment is made via a funds transfer, direct deposit
from your finance company or in the form of a bank cheque.
Q. What are on road costs?
A. On road costs include dealer delivery, registration, stamp
duty and CTP green slip in accordance with each particular
states regulations. Every price we give you at Personal Fleet
will include all on road costs, and delivered to your door with
a full tank of fuel.
Q. How long does this price last for?
A. As these are such great fleet prices and usually
unobtainable to one off buyers, the prices and values are
usually on a first in best dressed basis. If someone comes in
and will pay closer to recommended retail price for the vehicle,
then the dealer will sell it out from underneath us. THats why
it is important to put a holding deposit on the vehicle when we
get a great price so that the dealer has to honour that great
price and cannot sell the vehicle out from under us.
Q. What does it cost me?
A. If we save you enough money and you are happy to buy your
vehicle through Personal Fleet you pay a one off ‘membership’
fee of $165.00. This fee is only payable on success, so if we
put a tender out for you and you decide not to buy a vehicle
through Personal Fleet, which you are under absolutely no
obligation to do so, you pay nothing! So the only thing you lose
by not putting a tender out is the opportunity to save a lot of
money and time on the purchase of your vehicle. A fee is
only payable if you proceed with the purchase of your new car.
Q. Does Personal Fleet offer finance?
A. Yes. We refer all finance to our sister company ‘Money 4
Cars’. They are similar to us, where they help you compare all
the rates on offer for your particular credit rating and help
you save money on finance. We save you as much as we can on the
new car and they save you as much as they can on the finance.
Another win-win for you. If you have any more questions
regarding your finance contact one of Money4cars’ finance

A. Yes. Car insurance products are another specialty of our
sister company Money4cars. Their aim is to save you money on car
insurance year, year in and year out. For more information they

Q. Why should I buy GAP insurance?
A. IF touch wood, something was to happen that your car is
written off or stolen all together, and the insurance pay out
was less than the amount you owe on your loan you will not be
out of pocket for the short fall. A simple one off payment would
cover you for the life of the loan and could save you thousand.
Q. Do I need Loan Protection/Consumer Credit Insurance?
A. Should you become sick, involuntarily unemployed, or
unable to work due to injury and disease and not be able to pay
your car loan, having Loan Protection would cover this. You
would be safe guarded from repossession due to not being able to
pay the loan and/or incurring a huge debt with no income to pay
it off./p>
